How we ensure you get the most out of Training…

Understand the breed and dog’s background

1

It’s important to know the traits and nuances of your particular breed of dog. We can help you identify these and how they can alter your dogs drives and behaviours.

We also aim to gain as deep an understanding to the dog’s background as we can, allowing us to tailor our training approaches to best suit.

Understand your ambitions and background

2

We take the time to develop a full picture view of your world and how you want your dog to coexist within it. This enables us to ensure we are prioritising to help develop the specific skills your canine companion needs to benefit you the most.

Furthermore, by taking the time to understand your background and interests we can tailor our training approaches to ensure training remains fun, practical and enjoyable!

Supporting you to succeed whilst reducing the risks of failure

3

We want to prime you for success and therefore we won’t put you into a position where you have a high chance of failure to ensure training remains effective and supportive.

Equally we will never force you to use a training method that leaves you feeling uncomfortable. There are many different ways of training dogs and we strive to implement the most effective way that’s tailored to you, your pet and the environment we are in.

Transparency and Consistency

4

We remain open and transparent during the training process, and hope you remain the same. Real change happens when we are able to gain an unfiltered insight into the dog’s progress and behaviour.

It’s also important to be consistent with your dog, once you’ve decided what you want to be performed, and when, stick to it and be fair about how you implement them.

Remaining ready for further growth

5

We’ve felt , and seen, first handed the empowerment that comes with successfully training a dog can have and therefore understand the addiction that can come with that. Therefore we remain open to further work and develop with you and your dog should you decide to dive deeper than you originally thought once you’ve caught a glimpse of your pets Pawtential!
